Right-Sizers and Upgraders Around Linktown Residences Hougang Central (Updated 2026)

According to 99.co's data and analytics head, removal of the wait-out period for private homeowners has renewed interest in the resale market. Buyers right-sizing after selling a private home may hold substantial sale proceeds and the ability to pay a premium. The increase in the BTO income ceiling may also have led some buyers to reassess, and some may wait for the November BTO exercise.

Prices were steadier than volume. In 99.co's figures, overall resale prices rose 0.6% from August but stayed 0.4% below September 2025. Five-room prices rose 1.7% month on month, while three-room, four-room and executive prices eased. Mature-estate prices rose 1.4% from August and sat 0.6% above September 2025; non-mature-estate prices rose 0.1% and were 1.2% below the level of a year earlier.
