A development built into a town centre is easiest to understand through its numbers. Here are five that describe Linktown Residences, the 99-year leasehold condominium on the Hougang Central Government Land Sales site, in District 19.
About 830 homes are planned on the site. The development is a 50:50 joint venture between UOL Group and CapitaLand Development, and the unit mix, bedroom types and facilities will be confirmed by the developer on release. Floor plans and areas by type follow on the floor plan and site plan pages, and the e-brochure goes to registered readers on the same day.
The residential towers belong to a wider integrated development. CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust owns the commercial component, which includes a retail mall of about 300,000 square feet of net lettable area, a description CICT gives as the largest mall in Hougang. A new Hougang bus interchange and a town plaza with sheltered public event space and food and beverage outlets complete the plan.
Hougang MRT station (NE14) on the North-East Line is about 140 metres from the site in a straight line, and the development is planned with direct connectivity to the station. The line runs to Dhoby Ghaut (NE6) towards the city and to HarbourFront (NE1) at its southern end, and a bus stop opposite Block 521 is about 50 metres away. The same address is set to become an interchange with the Cross Island Line: LTA expects Phase 1, which runs 29 kilometres from Aviation Park to Bright Hill, in 2030.
The site covers about 504,820 square feet at a plot ratio of 2.5. The tender closed on 16 December 2025 with three bids, and the site was awarded on 14 January 2026 to the consortium of CICT, CapitaLand Development and UOL Group.
Hougang Mall is about 200 metres away, with Punggol Community Club about 210 metres, Sunflower Preschool 190 metres, Montfort Junior School 320 metres and Montfort Secondary School 370 metres. Ci Yuan Hawker Centre, about 1.05 kilometres from the site, adds a wider choice of stalls, and an NParks green space at Jalan Naung lies about 320 metres away.
Guardian Pharmacy at Hougang Mall, about 190 metres from the site, handles everyday errands, while the facilities schedule for the residential towers will be shown on the site plan when the developer releases it. Taken together, the numbers describe an address where the town centre, the transport link and the homes belong to one plan. Linktown Residences is at the pre-launch stage. The location page shows the distances and routes in a table. Straight-line distances are approximate, and walking routes will follow the final site plan.
The developer will issue its material in stages, and registered readers receive each release on the day it is published. Registration is open through the contact page.
